Innes England has let three industrial units for Jelson Ltd
confirming that the demand for good quality industrial units
remains high.
62-66 Hayhill Industrial Estate, Barrow-on-Soar, is a single
storey industrial unit consisting of 10,805 sq ft, which has been
let to Kaimann Ltd, a German company specialising in the
installation and maintenance of heating systems.
Units 60-65, East Goscote Industrial Estate, consisting of
21,083 sq ft have been let to Pauline Edwards Transport, a local
and expanding distribution company already based on the Estate.
Finally, Unit 35 on the new Interchange Leicester business park
development in Birstall has been let to Twenty One Twelve Ltd. This
last letting completes the first phase of development. There are
three new buildings presently under construction which will be
ready in February 2011.
Peter Doleman of the Leicester office of Innes England said:
"These recent lettings confirm the popularity of these north
Leicestershire estates and overall, a continuing robustness within
the industrial market that we have seen improve over the last 12
months.
"The completion of the first phase of Interchange Leicester is
particularly pleasing as, since the onset of the recession, there
has been very little speculative industrial building around
Leicestershire. The fact that we have now let all of the units in
the first phase shows that that the demand is there, which is a
positive sign for the region."
Innes England has a strong relationship with Jelson Limited, and
has worked with the firm since the 1950s. The property agent
oversees the lettings for the commercial arm of the company and all
rent reviews and lease renewal work.
Stuart Wilson, property director at Jelson Limited said: 'We are
very pleased with these recent lettings. They show the continuing
improvement in the industrial market locally and are also further
proof of the need for new speculative industrial and office
development at our new site at Birstall. "
