A leading industrial injuries lawyer have opened a second
Stoke-on-Trent office providing much needed jobs in Burslem town
centre.
Ambitious Attwood Solicitors have opened an office in St John's
Square, in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent's Mother Town.
And the premises will offer new facilities including a "Law
Lounge" where residents can call in and enjoy a free cup of coffee
while receiving free legal advice in relaxing surroundings.
Meanwhile, Attwood Solicitors will be joined at the Burslem
offices by audiologists Hear4U. The Stoke based solicitors'
practice has forged a UK wide reputation for taking on industrial
hearing cases and offer free hearing tests to potential clients
through Hear4U.
Ashley Attwood founded Attwood Solicitors in May 2005 and
employed his first staff member when it moved to its office in
Hartshill Road, Stoke a year later.
The practice now has 17 employees and hopes to take on 10 more
people in the next 12 months.
"The expansion into Burslem is a very exciting move for us,"
said Mr Attwood. "The public image of a solicitors practice can be
somewhat old fashioned and stuffy. But, with our new offices and
law lounge, we are creating a modern, welcoming, premises, where
people feel able to come in and have a chat.
"We will continue to specialise in personal injury cases, but we
will be happy to give free advice on any aspect of law and will
recommend other solicitors to take on cases as necessary.
"The Law Lounge will also allow us to hold free advice events,
where people can come in and get advice on a specific area of the
law - such as matrimonial or employment law - from experts."
"I am also pleased that we are taking on empty premises,
providing employment and generating wealth in the centre of the
historic town of Burslem.
The St John's Square office was most recently home to Denry's
Restaurant.
