Leading Black Country law firm George Green LLP has advised on
the sale of Chesterfield based LYNXS Shredders to the Italian steel
and engineering company Danieli Group for an undisclosed
amount.
LYNXS Shredders was one of the world's leading manufacturers of
shredders for the metal recycling industry and Partner Guy Green
led the George Green advisory team. The former owner of LYNXS
Shredders Tim Christian will adopt a prominent long-term role in
the new group, with all LYNXS operations and existing staff moving
to the Danieli's site in Sheffield over the next couple of months.
With annual revenues in excess of €2.5 billion, Danieli is one
of the world's largest privately controlled integrated engineering
and manufacturing groups.
