House hunters and investors can now view first-hand residential
opportunities at Hive following the opening of two, one bedroom
show apartments at the recently launched residential development.
Part of the £600m mixed-use Masshouse scheme in
Birmingham's Eastside, Hive brings an exciting and innovative new
collection of 167 studio suites, one and two bedroom apartments to
the city centre, within walking distance of the Bullring.
The first phase of properties released for sale and ready for
occupation in March, includes studio suites and one bedroom
apartments, with prices starting from £90,000. Coinciding
with the first release to the market, Midlands based interior
design studio Killer5 was commissioned to dress the development's
first show homes.
Simon James, sales director for Hive commented: "Each property
at Hive has been designed to take account of its aspect, elevation
and size, creating homes that project individuality and character.
The brief for the showhomes was to reflect this by dressing two
differently laid out one bedroom apartments in contrasting interior
schemes. Killer5 have delivered this with their inspired light and
dark creations, which we hope will demonstrate to purchasers how
they can inject their own personalities into homes at Hive.
We're delighted that the showhomes are now open and would
encourage those considering a city centre property to come and
visit what we believe is an exciting new concept in city living at
Hive."
Rebecca Pearce of Killer5 added: "Enjoying a corner position
with full height glazing to the open plan living and kitchen area,
we have dressed the 'light' show apartment in airy shades of white,
cream and mauve. Its calming feminine tones are highlighted through
a selection of furnishing accessories including iconic, high
fashion photography prints. In contrast, the 'dark' show apartment,
which offers a more formal room layout, has been dressed with an
oriental influence, using bold shades of taupe, red and black.
Dark wooden furniture, statement artwork and textured soft
furnishings combine to create the ambience of a stylish boutique
hotel within this property."
A confident declaration of design led living Hive combines the
best in contemporary design with quality finishes and respected
brands. All properties are heated by Birmingham District Energy
Company (BDEC) - the first time residential homes in the city have
benefitted from the city's district water heating system. Using wet
radiators rather than more common apartment storage heaters,
residents will benefit from reduced utility bills and an estimated
92 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions.
An air of exclusivity exudes throughout Hive with entry into the
building's main reception area situated adjacent to a communal
garden designed for residents' private use. Purchasers can choose
apartments offering private balconies, with Hive also offering
secure basement parking.
The marketing suite and two show homes are now at Hive which is
located at Masshouse Plaza, Moor Street Queensway, Birmingham B5
5JE.
