Browne Jacobson has advised Macintosh Retail Group NV on the
acquisition of UK shoe retailer, Jones Bootmaker.
The acquisition of Jones Bootmaker, with its 93 stores, 1600
employees and a turnover exceeding £95 million, complements
Macintosh's current fashion portfolio which also includes Brantano
UK.
The deal will also make Macintosh Retail Group the third largest
shoe specialist in the UK.
Maastricht-based Macintosh Retail Group operates some 1,250
stores across the Netherlands, Belgium, France and UK ranging from
furniture to fashion and automotive to telecom.
The Browne Jacobson team that advised Macintosh Retail Group NV
