Two stunning city centre apartments come under the hammer at the next Bigwood auction in Birmingham on Thursday, March 10, at the Aston Villa ground.

The auction is set to be the largest ever held in Birmingham and probably the largest outside London with a massive 136 lots going under the hammer.

A fourth floor one bedroom apartment in Broadway Plaza, the former Children's Hospital at Five Ways, off Ladywood Middleway, has panoramic views of the city and is described as "in nearly brand new condition". It has a guide price of £80,000-£90,000.

The other opportunity is No 1, Royal Arch Apartments, Floor 9 of the prestigious Mailbox development, a leasehold residential investment.

Bigwood director Jonathan Hackett said: "For the right purchaser these two properties, in the heart of the Second City, represent something special.

"The price of both is attractive and we expect plenty of interest."
