Apprenticeship scheme to boost local management skills

Chesterfield-based Evolution Training has launched a new Advanced Management Apprenticeship Scheme, which is available to Derbyshire-based companies looking to develop their staff and improve business performance.

The new programme will be run by Evolution Training, Derbyshire's largest provider of management training, which will develop the skills of managers who will gain internationally-recognised qualifications at the same time.

Companies looking to enrol their staff on the programme, for which funding is available (subject to eligibility), must be serious about wanting to develop the careers of their personnel - who may need to take on additional management responsibility in order to complete the programme. Those who join the programme should also be prepared to implement live business improvement projects and to present the results at the most senior level. Managers that successfully complete the programme will have the opportunity to progress onto foundation degree level courses.
