A competition to name Hadley Park House Hotel & Restaurant's
re-launched restaurant generated well in excess of 1,000
suggestions.
And so popular did it prove, that the owners of the top rated
hotel in Telford, Shropshire, needed to extend the closing date for
entries by a month.
Promoted almost exclusively on-line, and through Social Media
channels such as Twitter, the competition marked the successful
conclusion of a £1.5-million redevelopment and expansion of
Hadley Park House Hotel & Restaurant - all of which has
resulted in a new block of executive bedrooms, a major new function
suite, and the complete re-launch of the former Conservatory
Restaurant.
The owners of the privately run Hadley Park Hotel have now
chosen the new name for their Restaurant. And it will be
officially announced at a Gala Dinner on Saturday, March
12th.
The person who suggested the name for the Restaurant will be
guest of honour at an evening which is also open to the public.
Some spectacular live entertainment has been lined-up for the
night, along with a 4-course evening meal, with welcome drinks,
canapés and wine.
The Restaurant's next major test, following the Gala Dinner,
will be on Mothering Sunday, on April 3rd, when a contemporary
3-course Sunday lunch, featuring a 'real taste of Shropshire' will
be on offer at £25 per person.
Hadley Park House Hotel & Restaurant has been owned and
operated by Mark and Geraldine Lewis since 2003.
They have steadily built a reputation for quality dining,
comfortable accommodation and exceptional service; and following
the period of refurbishment, investment and development the hotel
now offers 22 luxury bedrooms, a 140-seater function suite and a
dedicated Restaurant.
