Integrated communications solutions provider Amillan has
invested in Solihull with its purchase of a £1.5m development
at Highlands Court in Cranmore.
Founded in 1985 by managing director Phil Jordan, the business
started as a cabling company and has grown into an infrastructure
and applications specialist, previously based in Aston.
Boasting a host of high-profile customers such as the NEC,
Wimbledon, Halfords, Solihull Care Trust, Swinton Insurance and
Dixons Retail Group, Amillan is at the forefront of designing and
implementing business solutions that can help companies work more
efficiently and cost-effectively.
Phil Jordan, managing director of Amillan, said: "Amillan has
been growing at an impressive rate and it became clear that we
needed to identify new premises that could house our growing
workforce. We are a Midlands business, born and bred, and were very
keen to remain within the Midlands.
"The business is incredibly focused and has been growing despite
the challenging financial climate. The move to the new premises in
Solihull is one more way in which Amillan can see its hard work
paying off."
Richard Reid, strategic development director at Amillan, said:
"The fantastic premises at Highlands Court were exactly what we
were looking for, enabling us to create a customer area which can
house over 100 people for seminars, training sessions and customer
demonstrations on how Amillan's communications solutions can
benefit their businesses."
Lorely Burt, MP for Solihull, said: "Solihull is an attractive
setting for organisations with its business-centric focus combined
with a well-placed location on the transport network. We warmly
welcome Amillan's decision to select Solihull for its relocation
and Amillan is an exciting new addition to Solihull's quality
business community."
