One of the East Midlands' fastest growing public relations agencies Shooting Star PR has been chosen to handle all consumer PR and publicity for Wyboston Lakes.

The Lincoln-based agency will be working with the multi-purpose venue to promote its ever-increasing leisure business.

Wyboston Lakes situated on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border is the largest privately owned, single-site residential conference and training centre in northern Europe, set in 350 acres of rural countryside. 

It has already successfully positioned itself as a leading player in the conference market. However, in 2007 the privately owned company diversified into the hotel industry and now wishes to continue to grow and develop the leisure side of its business. 

The company has a diverse product offering for consumers including Wyboston Lakes Hotel, leisure breaks (includes an online booking service), an award-winning restaurant, special events and tribute nights, Christmas parties, an 18-hole golf course (and all-weather driving range), weddings and private functions.

The innovative East Midlands PR consultancy based in Lincoln has more than doubled in size since it set up in 2006 and has worked for a wide range of clients including Lincolnshire County Council, the University of Lincoln, the NHS and The Old Station Nursery.
