Joanna Smith has been elected full membership of the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) after passing her
Assessment of Professional Competence examinations
A practitioner with property specialists Berrys at Kettering,
Joanna was awarded her certificate last month after submitting a
lengthy critical analysis of her work and passing an interview and
presentation in front of a panel of three chartered surveyors.
Joanna, 25, joined Berrys in November 2008 following her
graduation from The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester with an
honours degree in Rural Land Management.
She works alongside Nick Bowman in the rural business team at
the Kettering office within areas including property management,
agency, valuation and planning. With her RICS membership
secured she is now working towards her Central Association of
Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) qualification.
"This is a fantastic achievement as the exams are a very
rigorous test of competence, demanding high standards and a
dedicated approach to the course," said Nick Bowman, a partner at
Berrys.
"Joanna will continue to develop her range of professional work
and will now be able to take on more responsibility and work with
her own clients," he added.
