The road to zero carbon

Midland Energy Services are providing a number of popular seminars on a range of sustainable building topics during 2011. They are completely free to local architects, developers, builders etc and are held at their offices in Newark. Refreshments and CPD certificates are provided.

The next seminar is on Wednesday 2nd February from 9.15am to 11.30am and is on the new Part L Building Regulations which now requires all new buildings to reduce carbon emissions by at least 25%. The seminar covers what the changes mean in practice and how both residential and commercial buildings will have to be designed and specified to meet the new requirements. As this is the first step on the road to zero carbon houses by 2016 the seminar also looks at future implications and how architects and developers can meet these challenging regulations in the most cost effective way.

Places are limited and therefore please call Becky at Midland Energy Services on 01636 653 055 to reserve your place. Alternatively email Midland Energy Services on info@midlandenergyservices.co.uk for a full schedule of this years seminar topics.
