their awards at the International Property Awards
Midlands interior design team Wilkinson Beven Design, based in
Solihull, is celebrating a series of award wins at several
international award ceremonies.
The firm, owned by Richard Wilkinson and John Beven, has come
away with successes at both the International Property Awards and
the Design et al International Design and Architecture Awards.
Their recently completed Moonshine Ridge development in Barbados
was successful in four categories at the International Property
Awards - Best Development Americas, Best Architecture Americas,
Best Architecture Caribbean award and going on to win the Best
International Development category.
These highly prestigious and fiercely contested awards were
presented recently by former BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond,
at a grand gala banquet with over 500 leading property
professionals at the Lancaster Hotel London.
Wilkinson Beven's work at Moonshine Ridge, part of the Apes Hill
Club community and championship golf course, included developing 9
different luxury villa types, for 30 plots, by working with the
architects to provide space planning, CGI visuals and fully
furnishing the development's show home, which was recently
completed.
At the Design et al International Design and Architecture
Awards, their Chalet Le Blanchot project in the French Alps won the
Best Swimming Pool and Best Property £20M plus
categories.
Wilkinson Beven completed the entire interior design for the 6
bedroom chalet, from the lighting to bespoke items like the feature
staircase, ensuring the best use of space throughout.
Richard, Director of Wilkinson Beven, said: "This is a fantastic
achievement for us and we are absolutely delighted to have received
our awards.
"Since we established our company in 2007, we have treated all
of our UK clients with our exceptional and unique service - and the
awards now prove that we are capable of triumphing within the
highly competitive international property arena too.
"We always endeavour to work hard with each client to create a
unique style that is exciting, vibrant and ultimately pleasing to
them, whether this is for their own home, or an exclusive property,
like a high-end rental chalet, which has to compete at the top
level of the market."
