Just three months after opening its doors in Ashbourne, Simpson Jones Solicitors is expanding its operation, with the appointment of Melissa Preston as legal secretary.

Melissa joins the firm on St John's Street in Ashbourne, following a wide and varied career as a personal assistant and administrator.

Prior to joining Simpson Jones, Melissa lived in Mexico City and Paris before moving to Ashbourne in 2002. She has worked for a number of international, high profile hotel groups.  She also worked in the HR and film research departments at London Weekend Television and was personal assistant to the group managing director at Vodafone.

Melissa is currently the Honorary Secretary of a UK charity that supports a school for street children in South Africa.

In her new role at Simpson Jones Solicitors, Melissa will be providing administrative support to the firm's team of lawyers and legal executives.
