Jon Snow is one of the most recognised and trusted faces on
British television and for the past twenty years he has presented
the Channel Four's flagship news programme.
Jon has a long relationship with Coventry University and in
October 2009 he became an Honorary Professor of Journalism.
He returns to Coventry on Tuesday 1 February to take part in the
popular Coventry Conversations series.
His talk, entitled: 'From Newsfilm to Twitter - one reporter's
journey to TV's new world' will highlight the many ways the lives
of working journalists have evolved with the use of social media
and how news reporting and gathering has changed as a result.
John Mair, producer of the Coventry Conversations series
said:
"It is once again a huge privilege to welcome Professor Snow
back to Coventry. He is always willing to give his time and
experience to the next generation of journalists and it will be a
fascinating insight into his work."
The Coventry Conversation with Jon Snow takes place on Tuesday 1
February at 9am in Room ETG 34 of the Ellen Terry Building,
Coventry University.
