The third and final phase of low energy, sustainable homes at
Green Street in The Meadows is about to be released for sale to the
public.
The first two phases astonished by selling entirely off plan
three months before the first house reached completion. For
specialist regeneration developer Blueprint, this success is a vote
of confidence in its sustainability by design ethos and an
indication of future demand for the remaining homes in the £8
million scheme.
Phase three is officially launched on Friday, January 21, and
nine of the 18 houses will be on sale that day. Interest is
expected to be red hot.
The development, which is a mixture of three and four bed
contemporary town houses, comprises 38 homes in total. Designed by
Nottingham based and award winning architects, Marsh Grochowski, it
is positioned next to the picturesque Victoria Gardens on the Trent
Embankment.
Val Shakespeare, residential sales manager at local selling
agents Royston & Lund in West Bridgford, said: "This project
has proved immensely popular and while we always expected a high
level of enquiries initially due to the specification and location
of this development, demand has far exceeded our
expectations.
"Blueprint has struck a chord with progressive purchasers.
"It is exciting to be involved in such a ground breaking project
and see potential buyers so genuinely enthusiastic."
The scheme builds on Blueprint's core values of design driven
quality and sustainability. Features include solar photovoltaic
supplemented electricity, whole-house heat recovery, super
insulation and air tightness way above new building
standards.
The homes are priced from around £175,000 to
£235,000 and are being sold nationally by Savills via their
Nottingham office and locally by Royston & Lund in West
Bridgford.
Multi-award winning developer Blueprint, based in Nottingham,
has been responsible for two other major schemes on brown field
sites - No.1 Nottingham Science Park, off University Boulevard, and
Phoenix Square in Leicester, which comprises homes, office studios,
independent arts cinema and a café bar.
