transforms business communications
A leading communications firm is to open its very first office
in Ilkeston, Derbyshire and is calling upon the local community to
find their very first charitable partnership.
The brainchild of Leon Braisby (35), Sean Newbold (34) and
Duncan Burgess (44), the firm previously known as Nexsis
Communications, rebranded 15 months ago to become Nexsis Comms Ltd
and have chosen Ilkeston as its headquarters, partly down to its
thriving economy.
Managing Director, Leon Braisby, said: "Although we have an
employee base across the UK, the majority of the Nexsis team live
locally to Ilkeston so when we were looking for a new base to work
from it made perfect sense to bring the business home to
Derbyshire".
"For the last twelve years we have conducted our business across
all corners of the UK, supplying customers with our extensive
knowledge gained through working in the industry. Whether
supplementing their own in-house skills or providing dedicated
expertise, we are able to help businesses make the correct
decisions when investing in a communications solution.
"By opening our very first office in Derbyshire, we hope to
inform local business owners that they can make use of new and
existing technology, usually thought of as only available to large
corporate companies. We hope to show local businesses that by
making the most of their existing communications architecture, or
investing in new technologies, they can increase employee
productivity. As Ilkeston now boasts a thriving economy and an
abundance of industrial estates, it is the ideal place to lay some
roots and start to do business."
Nexsis offer a raft of services including, Unified
Communications, through the integration of business telephone
systems, business data networks, along with business mobiles, and
will be opening its very first office on Park Road at the start of
February, and is looking for its very first charitable
partnership.
Sales Director, said: "For the last few years we have been
seriously thinking about our first charitable partnership. My
nephew was born with a serious heart condition which means that I
have seen first-hand the great work undertaken by many under
resourced and unfunded local charities. By partnering with a
charity which is close to the hearts of the local community in
Ilkeston, we hope our work can benefit locally where it matters
most.
"As such, we have decided to let the people of Ilkeston decide
which charity we should offer our support to. We are keen to find a
small independent charity which has maybe struggled on both the
funding and publicity side of things."
