Leading IT and data security specialist Network Defence has strengthened its plans to expand in the West Midlands by appointing Peter Southern as Account Manager.

With a number of high profile clients already based in the West Midlands including P & O Ferrymasters, The Belfry and Festival Housing, the company plans to further increase its profile with Peter helping to drive the campaign in the region.

Peter brings with him 13 years experience in sales and new business in the technology and IT security sectors. He will be responsible for driving sales, raising the company's profile and encouraging business growth in the regions' key sectors, including professional services.

He joins Network Defence from IT Telemarketing Services Ltd where, as Business Development Manager, he created successful lead generation campaigns for global technology vendors. Prior to this, Peter worked as Account Manager at Totalamber Ltd providing consultancy services for enterprise ERP, HR and BI systems.
