Michael Fabricant MP for Lichfield officially opened a
state-of-the-art, 3,500 square foot premises for IT solutions
provider, First Class Technologies.
The new facility on Britannia Enterprise Park has become the
Head Office for First Class Technologies who have been Lichfield
based for the past 14 years. The company specialises in the
provision of complete computer solutions for both the business and
education sectors having maintained steady growth despite recent
economic challenging times.
Black Country Reinvestment Society (BCRS) in conjunction with
Staffordshire County Council supported the £40,000
project with a £20,000 loan to assist with the design and
refurbishment of the property, with funding from their joint
initiative the Staffordshire Business Support Fund (SBSF).
Richard Hinton, Managing Director of First Class Technologies
explains:
"We have moved to a purpose designed facility in order to
support a phase of managed growth as we had gradually outgrown our
original offices in Lichfield. We have made a considerable
investment in the new building so that it will enable us to provide
a range of additional services for our customers who are
predominately local schools, colleges and businesses."
"The new premises is equipped with hi tech audio and visual
facilities, a training suite, offices, meeting rooms, state of the
art computer workshop and a warehouse facility. It means that we
can conduct our business more efficiently, adapt to the ever
changing needs of customers and develop the range of services to
help the business to further expand. It's a very exciting phase for
us. We are delighted to see that despite challenging times the
business is thriving, long may it continue!"
On opening the new facility, Michael Fabricant MP, who is a
Chartered Engineer, comments:
"I am absolutely delighted to be here today opening these new
premises for First Class Technologies. It is refreshing to see that
despite the considerable challenges being faced by businesses, they
continue to thrive. And First Class Technologies is a perfect
example of that."
