Innes England has 'worked out' the perfect letting to national gym chain Gym4all at The Glasshouse on Huntingdon Street in Nottingham city centre.

The Midlands leading property agent has let two units to the gym chain, consisting 5,499 sq ft at ground floor level and 10,000 sq ft at lower ground floor to create the 16,399 sq ft gym.

The entrance opens out on to Huntingdon Street and members will also have access to secure parking in the 250 space Metro Car Park to the rear of the building.

Gym4all, which opened for business on 4 January, will join retail giant ALDI in The Glasshouse leaving one retail unit remaining of 13,500 sq ft. There is also additional space on the first floor which can be incorporated to create up to 30,000 sq ft in total.

Matthew Hannah head of retail and roadside at Innes England says: "The Glasshouse is the ideal location for Gym4all. Its central location coupled with the fact it has secure parking, means that it provides easy access to members living and working in the city centre."

Gym4all is a budget gym offering value for money membership. The company also has gyms in Croydon and Bradford and is looking to open in various cities across the country.

Erik Van Meeteren, owner of Gym4All, says: "We selected Nottingham as a location because it's a large city and the fact it has a high number of students, one of our target audiences. The Glasshouse is centrally located and it is easily accessible on a busy road. There is also secure parking. As well as students, we hope to attract professionals who work in the city centre and can only squeeze half-an-hour here and there before or after work. We feel that The Glasshouse is the ideal location for us."

Innes England acted for JSR Properties. Charles Fish of JSR said: "We welcome Gym4all at a time when the student accommodation at The Glasshouse also has new operators.  Already Gym4all is signing up many students at their exclusive introductory rates and Metro Car Parks has offered free car parking from 6pm - 11pm for six months to welcome our new tenant."

Gym4all was represented by Savills.
