Midlands-based IM Properties has bought Purley Way Retail Park,
Croydon, with the help of legal advice from Lodders Solicitors in
Stratford-upon-Avon.
IM Properties paid £21,150,000 for the 42,000 sq ft
complex which was owned by Aviva Investors, the global asset
management arm of insurance group Aviva plc.
The park comprises four retail warehouse units along with an
area of undeveloped land.
The units are let to Harveys, interiors business Paul Simon,
Carpetright and Easy Living.
Lodders partner Mark Lee, the firm's head of investment, said:
"This was a deal which was completed quickly and we were delighted
to advise IM Properties on the legal elements of it.
"We have acted for IM Properties on a number of matters during
the course of the last 12 months, with Purley Way being the
latest."
Jonathan Perkins, partner at King Sturge, acted for IM
Properties on the transaction.
IM Properties, which has its headquarters at Warwick, is part of
the interests of entrepreneur Robert Edmiston.
