Walsall-based truck dealer Hartshorne has supplied two Volvo
trucks to one of the country's leading specialists in luxury
horseboxes.
Hartshorne has supplied two new Volvo FL 4x2 rigid trucks with
240 horsepower Euro 5 engines to Wolverhampton-based Sovereign
Horseboxes.
Sovereign has converted the vehicles to luxury bespoke
horseboxes, individually designed for customers. The company, based
in Tettenhall, has been specialising in the fabrication of luxury
horseboxes for more than 40 years.
The first Volvo-based horsebox was produced for Nina Emery of
Moss Farm Shop in Cannock. The horsebox used hand-crafted parts and
finishes and high quality materials.
Sovereign were so pleased with the finished horsebox, they
replicated it for a demonstrator vehicle to show off their
capabilities.
Hartshorne's Dean Guttridge said Sovereign had a national
reputation for their craftsmanship and Hartshorne was delighted to
be supplying them with vehicles.
"The horseboxes produced by Sovereign are beautiful products
which are uncompromising in their luxury and finish," he said.
The Hartshorne Group is the Volvo Trucks agent for the Midlands,
with 12 depots across central England. The company is part of the
Crossroads Group.
