Walsall-based truck dealer, the Hartshorne Group is helping a
Midland haulage company achieve its growth ambitions.
Hartshorne has supplied a new Volvo FH Rigid truck to
Uttoxeter-based Punchards Haulage to add to its fleet.
The new vehicle - the third Volvo that Hartshorne has supplied
to Punchards - is an FH 8x2 rear steer unit with Globetrotter XL
cab, hill-hold control and 610 litre fuel tanks. It will be used to
transport steel stock between the UK and mainland Europe.
Punchards - based on the Bramshall Industrial Estate in
Uttoxeter - has decades of experience in haulage between the UK and
Europe. The company runs a fleet of crane-equipped flatbed trailers
and trucks with satellite tracking, and also specialises in
abnormal loads.
As well as haulage, Punchards supplies logistics services,
warehousing and garaging and MOT testing station services.
The Hartshorne Group is the Volvo Trucks agent for the Midlands,
with 12 depots across central England. The company is part of the
Crossroads Group.
