Friend LLP are delighted to welcome Harry Reilly and Julia
Rosenbloom to the team.
Harry Reilly has joined as Chairman of the Firm's Advisory
Board. Harry is a well known figure in the Birmingham
business community; his previous roles have involved a number of
senior roles with BMW and Land Rover and his most recent role was
as the Group Managing Director of Brintons Limited, the world's
leading supplier of premium carpets to the hospitality, cruise,
gaming and leisure sectors.
Harry has vast experience in restructuring organisations and
developing worldwide business structures and relationships,
particularly in North America and the Far East. Harry is also
Chairman of the British American Business Council in the Midlands
and AWM's Beacon Manufacturing Group. He recently chaired a
Government task force on Advance Manufacturing and is also a
Regional Councillor for the CBI.
Harry commented "I've worked with Friend LLP for a number of
years and have always admired their professional and commonsense
approach. I am very much looking forward to contributing to the
further growth and development of the firm's excellent support for
their clients."
In addition, Julia Rosenbloom has also joined Friend LLP as a
Senior Manager in the Personal Tax department. Julia originally
qualified as a Solicitor in 2002, training with a large commercial
law firm. She subsequently qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser and
is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate
Practitioners.
Julia advises on all areas of tax planning. She has experience
in both personal tax and corporate tax which allows her to provide
comprehensive and practical tax advice to clients with complex
affairs. Julia has particular interests in Inheritance Tax
planning, tax planning for non-UK domiciled individuals, trust
planning (UK and offshore) and corporate reconstructions.
Both Hannah Bowker in the Audit and Business Advisory department
and Mark Scotter in the Corporate Finance department have been
promoted to Director from 1 January, reflecting their hard work and
commitment to growing the Firm over the last year.
Hannah commented "The new appointments will aid the Firm's
growth in the forthcoming year, whilst allowing us to continue to
offer the highest levels of service to our clients."
Mark added "I am delighted to have been promoted to Director, I
believe as a firm we are very well placed to advise entrepreneurs
and owner managers across a wide range of sectors and I look
forward to an increase in the number of deals taking place in
2011."
