Leading Midlands law firm, Flint Bishop, has strengthened its team with the appointment of David Miller, as partner & head of commercial.

David joins Flint Bishop from Knights Solicitors in Newcastle under Lyme in Staffordshire, where he has spent the past 10 years.

He has eight years post qualification experience in contract drafting and negotiation ranging from standard terms and conditions to procurement under the FP7 regime and agreements for the purchase of rollercoasters.  

He has strong grounding in transactional work, but is now heavily involved in commercial matters - from general terms and conditions and supply agreements through to issues of agency and distribution. 

He specialises in advising on IT and technology issues both to companies in the sector and large organisations with relevant issues around procurement. He has further sector expertise in the leisure and entertainment industry and with football clubs, where he has advised on issues from sponsorships and player contracts through to re-financing and takeovers.
