members of Dudley and District Business Club for giving £500
to aid the work helping families.
Dudley and Stourbridge Voluntary Support Group of Diabetes UK
branch chairman Tracy Lee received the donation from the club's
raffles. She said: "It's been a difficult year, so this
is a great help. It will go towards buying gifts for children
at their party later this month."
Coach Paul Harris will be speaking at the club's next meeting on
Tuesday (January 18) on the Power of Being Real - showing four
simple words can transform business and personal success.
The meeting, at Wassell Grove Lane, Hagley Golf Club, starts at
7pm. Members are inviting new businesses to join them to try
it for themselves.
Dudley and District Business Club welcomes business owners from
the individual self-employed to companies, and helps start-ups, to
gain from others' experiences, such as how to best negotiate and
close deals on new business. The club, membership just £25 a
year, meets the third Tuesday of each month, over a hot supper, for
networking. A small charge is made, and booking is essential via
