Darwin ITC
Darwin ITC, one of the region's leading IT solutions
specialists, has launched a new business venture following equity
investment by major drainage, transport and construction services
provider SP Holding Group of Telford.
The new joint agreement will allow Darwin ITC to supply,
integrate and support the critical business systems in all ten
divisions of the SP Holding Group.
The new IT system will be centralised and streamlined to best
cope with business practices, as well as creating efficiencies with
the current structure.
SP Holding proprietor Steve Holding said: "Our business is
expanding at such a fast rate that we needed to find additional
external support for our company systems, as they are critical to
our success and play a major part in everyday operations.
"Our customers demand ever more efficient services, and these
technological systems play an important role in providing
these.
"We found that Darwin ITC had the infrastructure and expertise
to provide further advances in our internal business systems, as
well as ground-breaking technology for our current and future
needs."
Mike Minton, managing director of Darwin ITC, added: "The link
with SP Holding is also a strategic move for the growth and
long-term success of our own company.
"It will allow us to reach more customers and to offer
additional sophisticated products and technologies. It also allows
us to have a platform for research and development.
"We already have offices in both Shrewsbury and Telford and this
exciting new contract, combining their ideas and our technology,
should prove to be a positive step towards future development for
both companies."
