Coalville-based aerial surveying company Bluesky has signed an
agreement to supply the latest aerial survey and 3D mapping data to
the academic community.
The agreement with Eduserv covers Bluesky's archive of the most
up to date aerial photography covering the whole of England, Wales
and parts of Scotland, together with height data that is used for
creating 3D computer maps. Under the agreement Eduserv will promote
the Bluesky data to universities and colleges across the UK and
Ireland.

A not for profit organisation Eduserv are dedicated to
developing and delivering technology solutions that demonstrate
cost savings in the public sector. The latest Eduserv Chest
Agreement covers Bluesky's national archive of full colour digital
aerial photography and Digital Surface Models (DSM). The national
coverage of aerial imagery at 25cm, selected areas of higher 12.5
cm resolution and DSMs with a 2m grid spacing are already well used
and respected by the academic community.
