Following the launch of several new services this year, Walsall business phone systems provider Cloudnet (www.cloudnetuk.com) joins other UK telecoms companies celebrate a successful 2010.

Cloudnet joins: BT, whose shares have increased by 22% on the year so far, TalkTalk, which is up 25.6%, Vodafone is up 18%, KCOM (which used to be Kingston) is up 23% and Virgin Media is up a massive 67%.

Cloudnet has seen its customer base quadruple and is planning to double its team by the end of 2011.

The team which operates from the Enterprise Hub in Green Lane, Walsall, and employs seven people is already planning a raft of new features to help small businesses to benefit from its business telephone services.

"Cloudnet is currently signing up 60 new customers a month and we have grown our technical and sales teams to ensure that we provide top quality service. Most of our sales leads come in via our website which is run by our e-marketing team and we invest heavily in techniques to improve our website rankings," commented David Hill, founder and Chairman of Cloudnet.

The company's success is driven by its offer of plug and play business phone systems with no capital cost for their customers and free internet phone handsets. In addition, Cloudnet has also introduced new services in 2010 including live answering service CLASS, Flexi Number and free broadband migration.

Cloudnet enjoyed a boost in enquiries and sign ups after BT's planned strike action in the summer.

In November, Cloudnet reached the finals in two categories of the 2010 ICT Excellence Awards, which recognises the best and brightest technology companies from across the West Midlands. It was Highly Commended for the Technology Strategy Board's (Special Award) for High Growth Potential Business and achieved was commended in the Best Business Value category.

Cloudnet also received the prestigious Accredit UK quality standard.  David Hill comments: "We are one of the only telephony solutions companies to offer a quality of service guarantee to each of our customers and it is this strong customer-focus which resulted in us not only gaining the Accredit Quality Standard but also continuing to grow year on year."
