A Leicestershire marketing company is donating £10,000
worth of consultancy time to a local charity to mark its 20th
anniversary in 2011.
Word Association is calling on charities and voluntary
organisations to get in touch to discuss the offer of a free
campaign to help boost their fundraising efforts and raise public
awareness of their activities.
The Word Association team will donate around a month of their
time (worth £10,000) to be used to the best advantage of the
chosen charity. This could be used for a PR campaign, developing a
marketing strategy, producing newsletters or even to design a
website for the organisation.
Mark Thomas, Chief Executive of Word Association, said: "I'm
delighted that our team has proved to be so enthusiastic about
helping to support a charity for our anniversary year. We are
looking to find a project that we can really get our teeth stuck
into in order to make a real difference. Our company motto is good
communication changes lives, which is just what we hope to do with
this campaign."
Charity leaders, or fundraising and communications managers, who
think that Word Association's offer could make a big difference to
their organisation are invited to email Mark@wordassociation.co.uk,
or call 01455 614333 by February 28th 2011.
Word will select a charity to support on the basis of the
response to the offer and will choose the organisation that the
team feels would get the most benefit.
