Browne Jacobson has strengthened its real estate litigation
credentials in London with the appointment of partner Kate
Andrews.
Kate joins from HBJ Gateley Waring LLP where she was head of its
London Real Estate Litigation team. Prior to this she spent seven
years at Nabarro. She joins a seven strong legal team and will
report to Mark Aldrich, Head of the Property Litigation Group.
Andrews has extensive experience acting for high net worth
individuals, developers, funders and high-end retailers on a wide
range of complex, high profile real estate disputes, with a
particular specialism in property insolvency and rights of light
and development issues. Her clients have included Persimmon Homes,
X-Leisure, Land Securities, Blackrock, Capital and Regional,
Grainmarket Asset Management, Threadneedle Asset Management,
Glasgow City Council and Frogmore.
Kate's arrival follows on from the recent appointment of Real
Estate Associate Tim Rayner, also from HBJ Gateley Waring LLP, into
the firm's Birmingham office.
