Scanlans' team of receivers has been further strengthened
following the qualification of West Midlands partner Bev Robinson
as a registered property receiver.
Scanlans Consultant Surveyors LLP now have six fixed charge
receivers, all members of NARA (Association of Property and Fixed
Charge Receivers) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
They have a 20 strong support team at their five offices, dealing
with a large number of specialist property receivership
instructions from around the country.
"We congratulate Bev on her success in gaining her
qualification," said Neil Inman, who heads up Scanlans'
receivership and restructuring team.
"We're continuing to obtain a significant number of Law of
Property Act (LPA) Receivership instructions. In fact we are
dealing with receiverships that represent a portfolio value of more
than £60 million. Bev will certainly be a valuable addition
to our team."
Bev and the team are accepting instructions from more than 20
lenders including high street banks and building societies. Other
instructions are coming from providers of specialist development
finance, buy-to-let lenders and private companies.
The majority of instructions are for commercial properties but
they are also acting for a number of buy-to-let specialists dealing
in residential properties. Commercial properties they are acting
upon range from lock up garages to 50,000 sq ft plus industrial
units.
