Coventry's Belgrade Theatre is inviting members of the local
business community to attend its free Annual Networking Breakfast,
sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover, on Tuesday 15 February from 7.30am
to 9am.
Now in its fourth year, the Belgrade's Annual Networking
Breakfast is a free event that gives members of the local business
community the chance to network with businesses from across
Coventry and Warwickshire and also learn more about developments at
the Belgrade Theatre.
David Jane, Commercial Director at the Belgrade Theatre,
explained: "This annual event has grown from year to year and has
proved to be a great way for local businesses to connect with each
other. It is also a great chance to hear about the exciting work
that the Belgrade is currently producing and also to explore the
different facilities available at the theatre".
In addition to networking, attendees will have the opportunity
to listen to guest speakers including Geoff Brooke-Taylor from the
Leamington branch of law firm Alsters Kelley and Chairman of the
Belgrade's Business Development Committee and Les Ratcliffe, Head
of Community Relations at the event's sponsor Jaguar Land Rover,
will talk about Corporate Social Responsibility.
Les Ratcliffe said: "Jaguar Land Rover is really pleased to be
sponsoring the Belgrade's networking breakfast. Our support to the
arts via the Arts & Business Awards is long standing and the
ongoing work with the Belgrade supports our wider Corporate Social
Responsibility strategy."
There will also be the opportunity to see a presentation of the
Belgrade's new Theatre Business Training Programme which offers
businesses half and full day workshops on presentation skills, team
building and communications skills.
The workshops use a range of drama techniques, exercises,
creative activity and role play, to build skills in business
presentation, creative thinking, problem-solving, assertiveness and
giving and receiving feedback.
The Belgrade's Annual Networking Breakfast will finish at around
9am and all areas of the theatre will be open, including the Main
Stage and the B2 auditorium, for attendees to have a look around
the venue.
To book your place at this free event send an email to the
Belgrade's Business Development Officer Craig Nolan at
