Asiana food market makes a splash with new fish counter

Oriental food specialist Asiana Ltd today opens its new fish counter in its Nottingham-based food store. Home to an array of fresh fish, including sea bass, sea bream, squid, large prawns, live crabs and lobsters, the fish bar is set to be a real hit in the Nottingham area.

Sam Sangha, owner and managing director of Asiana Ltd, comments: "The consumer has become much savvier when it comes to buying fresh produce so with our new fish counter, we can cater for their needs. When you buy fish from traditional supermarkets, you often don't know how old the fish on offer actually is, but here, we can guarantee that ours is fresh and brought in everyday."

The fish is sourced regularly from renowned London fish market, Billingsgate, as well as local suppliers in the area. "It's great to be able to offer our customers such a high-calibre of fish, particularly as it falls in line with the level of quality of our other products on offer throughout the store.

"We're incredibly excited about the new counter and we're confident that it will be popular, especially as shoppers look for alternatives to traditional menus," concludes Sangha.

Asiana's Nottingham store is located at the bottom of the Woodborough Road and is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm and Sundays, 11am to 5pm.
