The Midlands' first boutique model agency is the latest business to choose a prestigious address at Derby's Friar Gate Studios.

'The Model Agency', the region's first boutique model agency, has taken virtual office space at Friar Gate Studios on Ford Street in Derby, which will enable it to benefit from a high profile address and access to the centre's facilities.

Established in 2003 by former model, Ruth Anderson, 'The Model Agency' has expanded rapidly to become one of the most reputable and widely respected model agencies in the Midlands. 

The highly acclaimed agency has on-going contracts with M & S and hairdressing brand, Nicky Clarke, and its latest contract with Speedo has seen the agency provide the models for the brand's newest children's campaign.

The Model Agency also operates fashion show production and recently staged an Asian fashion show at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Commenting on the company's new address at Friar Gate Studios, Ruth Anderson at 'The Model Agency' said:

Friar Gate Studios were launched in Spring 2007 in response to the continued growth of the creative industries in the city and surrounding areas. Tenants have access to broadband, on-site management and reception services, meeting rooms, IT support and visitor parking. They also benefit from a range of other facilities, including virtual office and hot desking, conference facilities, video conferencing, event and networking opportunities.
