Chalcroft Construction, specialists in refurbishment and new
build projects, has now completed a £1.2m scheme for Standard
Life Investments on behalf of Standard Life's Heritage with Profits
Fund.
Chalcroft was appointed by Standard Life Investments to renovate
the Heritage House office in Enfield, Middlesex.
The 15-week project included the Chalcroft team creating
open-plan office space by separating and splitting ground and
first-floor offices, replacing suspended ceilings and soft
flooring, and completely redecorating the premises.
The work also included altering and splitting all mechanical and
electrical services, and the installation of new lighting and a
heat recovery pump system.
Scott Wilson, operations director at Chalcroft, commented: "Our
reputation in this sector has been built on our ethos of teamwork
and our experience of refurbishment projects.
"Thorough planning and close liaison has ensured that our
highly-skilled workforce has been able to create both a spacious
and a modern working environment."
Phase two of the project, which consisted of reconfiguring the
external aspects of the building, has just been completed.
