Womens Networking Event in the East Midlands sees record sign up

Business women from across the East Midlands are preparing to let their hair down for a sophisticated evening of networking, indulgence and discounted designer fashion and event organisers Fraser Brown Solicitors are encouraging people to reserve their place before it's too late.

Hosting the event on the evening of 30 September will be designer store HOBBs in Nottingham, where for one night only luxurious pieces from their autumn-winter collection will be available at a 10% discount. Event organisers Fraser Brown Solicitors will be holding a raffle in aid of the Nottingham Women's Centre, with a prize of £200 to spend in-store. Attendees will be treated to a glass of wine on arrival, style advice from staff, makeup advice from Clinique and hand massages.

It will be the third Women On Work (WOW) networking event organised by the law firm, for whom supporting female professionals is very important. Peter Thornley of Fraser Brown said: "Previous WOW events have seen a great turnout and it's not hard to see why. First and foremost they present a golden opportunity for making excellent business connections - but in addition to that, there is always an exciting theme to make for a good talking point and an enjoyable experience."

Previous WOW events comprised a decadent chocolate-tasting evening and an exclusive screening of the women's Wimbledon semi-finals, complete with strawberries and cream. Emma Hanson, Outsourcing Director at RSM Tenon, one of the previous event's 50 attendees, said: "The event was very enjoyable and my team and I made some great business contacts. It's good to attend networking events that are a little bit different and we're really looking forward to the next one."

Initial signups suggest this event is set to be the most popular yet. To reserve your place at HOBBs for 30 September at 5.30pm onwards, please contact Heather Mitchell on 0115 9888777 or e-mail: hmitchell@fraserbrown.com
