Nottingham and Chilwell-based chartered accountancy firm, UHY
Hacker Young, is hosting a tax seminar, in conjunction with Actons
Solicitors, helping businesses assess their road worthiness and
ride out the recession.
The seminar, which asks: Is your business fit for the road
ahead? follows the changes made in the recent Emergency Budget and
will cover tax amendments (informing attendees on how to make the
most of the new Coalition Government's fiscal policies) and how to
ensure the stability of their business. The seminar will also
consider some of the legal issues which can arise in the present
economic climate.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 5th at the new
University of Nottingham Sports Pavilion. Registration opens at
4.15pm, with the seminar itself commencing at 4.45pm.
The speakers - Jeff Parr, tax partner at UHY Hacker Young,
Amanda Simpson, tax manager at UHY Hacker Young, and Simon Dakin,
director at Actons Solicitors - will be advising on topics such as
the best structure for a business, including where best to hold
assets, plus they will discuss ways in which profits can be
extracted in a tax efficient manner.
Jeff Parr comments: "With continued uncertainty over the economy
and the introduction of new fiscal policies, many businesses are
unsure of how to make the most of the current circumstances,
particularly regarding taxation. The seminar will advise people on
how to do just that, offering tactical tips and guidance."
The experts will also be available after the seminar to discuss
any personal business concerns that may arise.
