A Midlands horticultural solutions firm are celebrating a
successful appearance at this year's Four Oaks trade show, after
generating a record number of enquiries.
Castlefield Products Ltd made their 37th appearance at the UK's
leading horticultural trade show last week and deemed it as one of
their most profitable.
Geoffrey Gwilt, Sales Consultant at Castlefield said "This
year's trade show has really boosted Castlefield in both reputation
and sales potential.
"We received a lot of interest around the two new products we
were launching which we believe will turn into orders and our
general level of enquiries was up again this year."
Castlefield decided to use Four Oaks as a platform to launch
their two new products - The "Kingston E" trolley, and "Watford"
Soil Conditioner Sieve.
"These products are leading the way in horticultural
manufacturing and provide a much more efficient solution to
previous methods used for customer facilities and in gardening or
allotment cultivation", added Gwilt.
The horticultural solutions provider is an arm of metal
manufacturing company Bird Stevens Ltd, and provides engineering
solutions for horticulture. The product range includes
horticultural equipment for garden centres, nurseries, soft fruit
growers, wholesalers and distributors.
Steve Ruston, Managing Director of Bird Stevens said
"Castlefield Products is an important part of Bird Stevens and it
displays a high standard of quality and service.
"Bird Stevens uses its extensive experience in automotive and
general engineering industries to ensure that high quality
standards are maintained in all of its work."
Castlefield was previously an independent company owned by
Geoffrey Gwilt before being bought by Bird Stevens in 2007.
