A Shropshire solicitors has marked the anniversary of a hugely
successful merger - which has seen them develop a huge law network
in the county.
Moss and Poulson Solicitors in Shrewsbury merged with Linder
Myers in September 2009 and has been hailed as a success by all
involved.
The move helped the solicitors from both companies, along with
those from the firm Scott Lister - which also merged with Linder
Myers - to develop a larger network and combine resources.
Michael Limbrey, who moved from Moss and Poulson, said: "We have
had a successful twelve months implementing the merger with Linder
Myers.
"The merger has given our clients the benefit of greater
in-house experience and expertise and on a number of occasions
colleagues in other offices have been able to provide clients with
specialised assistance.
"Linder Myers is proud to be a local firm with a national and
international reach, acting for clients across England and Wales
and with extensive contacts with lawyers in other countries through
the international lawyers' association Consulegis.
"In Shropshire Linder Myers' gradual approach means that Kieran
Bond, Richard Ashton and I are still able to deal with our clients
in the way they are used to and we are confident that in the coming
year they will see more benefits from the merger."
Linder Myers is highly regarded for its legal work on behalf of
businesses and financial and property matters for the
individual.
The company is a 25-partner firm, with over 70 fee earners,
offering a complete range of legal services for individuals and
businesses throughout the country.
