A Shropshire recruitment firm which has achieved great success in the county has welcomed a new face to their expanding team.

Sales manager Jake Cintra, 32, has joined C2 Recruitment in Shrewsbury and will be working with both local and national companies.

Following two years of successful trading managing director Shane Hawkins realised the company needed to grow to meet demand and decided to employ two members of staff - and Mr Cintra will become the third.

Mr Hawkins said: "Jake is an experienced sales manager. His last position was as the general manager of a local media company where he enjoyed much success. He was highly regarded and we are very excited about having him on board.

"Jake will be working both with local and national companies focusing on existing and indeed new accounts. These will include general management within retail, sales, marketing and finance.

Mr Cintra, a keen sportsman who plays regular football and cricket in the county, started at C2 Recruitment on Tuesday(September 28) and is looking forward to building on the success of the company.

He said: "Recruitment is hugely important with the economy and jobs market in its current state.
