Shropshire's largest law firm, Lanyon Bowdler is delighted to
welcome a new face to the team, whilst saying goodbye to a much
valued and respected member of existing staff. Lynne Hinton joined
the firm in August 2010 as Human Resources Manager following the
recent retirement of her predecessor, Barbara Holdcroft.
Previously employed by HBOS for 21 years, Lynne had during that
time been a HR Consultant, and more recently a HR Business Partner
providing strategic HR support across several businesses. She
was a member of the senior management team and delivered in-depth
HR consultancy and expertise.
Lynne takes over the reins from Barbara Holdcroft who, having
joined Lanyon Bowdler in August 2001, successfully guided the firm
through a period of expansion and change. Barbara was also
instrumental in the firm becoming an accredited Investor in People
and, in 2009, her efforts in respect of the firm's training and
development were rewarded when Lanyon Bowdler received theTraining
Award in the Midlands Business Awards.
Speaking about her new role, Lynne said "I am looking forward to
returning to a generalist HR role where I can fully utilise my
range of HR skills".
