Specialist corporate lawyer Tom Gray has joined the Nottingham
office of leading law firm Geldards.
Tom, who advises on all corporate finance matters including
acquisitions, disposals and mergers, joins Geldards from Berryman.
The move follows that of another Berryman lawyer Ginny Hallam who
joined Geldards in the summer.
Tom 31, will be boosting the Midlands corporate finance team at
the firm headed by Andrew Borkowski.
Tom said: "I am delighted to be joining the Geldards team. This
is a fantastic opportunity for me. Geldards' growth is really
creating a buzz in Nottingham and it has a very professional and
well respected corporate finance team.
"I have joined Geldards at a time when there is increased
activity in the marketplace. There is now increasing activity with
banks and funders and this sort of confidence will encourage
activity within the wider business community."
Andrew said: "Tom's appointment is a major coup for the firm. He
is very well known in the Midlands and has been involved in a large
number of major deals. We know that Tom's appointment will further
boost our expanding corporate finance team, and will further
underpin our reputation as a leading advisor in the Midlands and
beyond."
Tom trained with Freeth Cartwright before joining international
law firm DLA Piper in Birmingham where he advised on high profile
transactions and private equity work.
