A snapshot of the 'Capital Allowances' tax relief available on
property transactions is on the menu at a breakfast seminar being
run by Nottingham law firm Berryman.
The free workshop event will include an insight into the legal
and financial implications of Capital Allowances, which are a form
of tax relief that should be considered in every property
transaction, as Berryman's Chairman Richard Brackenbury
explains:
"Capital Allowances are often overlooked in property
transactions, but represent a valuable method of relieving tax
liabilities through property ownership. They are available to tax
payers holding property as investment stock, incurring expenditure
on either the acquisition of an existing building or on
construction/refurbishment projects.
"Our seminar, with keynote speaker Kristian Potts, founder of
Kapital Property and a specialist Property Tax advisor, will
investigate the legal and financial considerations of Capital
Allowances, and how it can offer property owners and investors
valuable tax relief."
The Capital Allowances Breakfast Seminar is free to attend and
takes place at Berryman's offices in Nottingham on Tuesday 12th
October from 8am to 9.30am. To reserve a place, contact Senita
Vohra Tel: 0115 945 3751, or email:
