Nottinghamshire-based Proactive PR is looking to support public
relations students at the University of Lincoln with a rare
opportunity to achieve international experience.
The consultancy operates in around 100 countries worldwide
including Singapore, Canada, Japan and Australia delivering PR
services and support to its clients. Proactive PR delivers the
latest digital capabilities and has broadened its spectrum to
provide television production and delivery.
One of the first students to undertake the work scheme was
University of Lincoln PR student Emily Corfield, who said: "I spent
two weeks with Proactive PR and I helped to support its clients
with major events and announcements stretching from Singapore in
Asia to Canada in North America. The opportunity to work with such
an International PR company is very rare in the Midlands and it
gave me a tremendous insight into how my own career might
develop."
Proactive PR regularly provides television services to major
networking events around the world including CommunicAsia and the
Cloud Computing World Forum and has its own television studios and
resources in Horsham, West Sussex and Ripley, Derbyshire.
University of Lincoln PR Lecturer Jane Crofts said: "It is an
exciting prospect for the University to make good links with such
an internationally-focused PR consultancy that is right on our
doorstep. I am delighted that we will be working with the Proactive
PR team to create opportunities and for students to follow in
Emily's footsteps."
