Absolute Personnel Mike Hayward outside the new office in Castle
Gates, Shrewsbury
A new recruitment agency Absolute Personnel has just opened its
doors on Castle Gates in Shrewsbury and is already finding a host
of new opportunities for local job seekers.
Whilst the UK struggles to get to grips with the economic
problems one local businessman and founder of the agency Mike
Hayward is confident better times are ahead and draws comparisons
to the last recession in the early 1990's where he saw dramatic
increases in the temporary employment market.
"Whilst the economic recession has undoubtedly cast a huge
shadow over the region in the last few years with many people
unfortunately losing their jobs there are some positive signs that
the green shoots of recovery are starting to take effect with
companies now starting to employ people again," said Mike.
Mike an experienced recruiter of 25 years went on to explain,
"Businesses use temporary labour to help fulfil short term
contracts and initial increases in work orders whilst it also
offers job seekers an opportunity to find immediate work and in
many circumstances temporary jobs can lead to full time employment.
Many local businesses are already taking advantage of our flexible,
cost effective Temporary to Permanent options, that we tailor to
suit individual clients requirements"
"The opening up of Absolute Personnel in Shrewsbury follows
months of research into the employment opportunities offered by the
region. I have spoken to many employers in the area and are
confident that there will continue to be a number of new job
vacancies on offer across our five operating divisions Industrial,
Transport, Technical, Catering and Commercial.
"Having spent most of my life living and working in Shrewsbury l
fully understand the local jobs market and will ensure the service
this company offers is tailored exactly to the needs of employers
and the job seekers in the area," added Mike.
"At Absolute Personnel we offer job seekers the opportunity to
call in and browse the selection of jobs available and talk to our
friendly and experienced consultants. They are able to see what
kind of work we can offer them without any pressure and before they
go through the procedure of interviews and form filling. We find
this provides a much more relaxed atmosphere where job seekers have
the chance to see how we can help them before going on to our
books," concluded Mike.
Absolute Personnel's office is open from 8.00am to 5.30pm,
Monday to Friday. For more information and to view some of the jobs
