Guests at a Telford hotel can now choose to stay in
newly-refurbished rooms after a major upgrade.
The 25 Club Rooms at Grays Hotel have been totally refitted with
new fixtures and fittings, furniture and bathrooms, as part of an
ambitious project by the Southwater Event Group, which owns the
hotel.
Chief Executive, Tom Gray, said he was delighted with the
results of the transformation and believed that guests would be
impressed with the new rooms.
Work is also being carried out to refurbish bedrooms at The
Holiday Inn, which is also owned by Southwater Event Group, and
public areas and customer toilets at both hotels will also be
upgraded.
"By updating and improving the bedrooms, we are now able to
deliver a consistent standard of customer experience at all three
of our hotels.
"This approach includes the service we deliver at the
International Hotel, which was only built in 2004 and so already
has modern contemporary facilities."
The upgrades are part of wider development plans from the
Southwater Event Group - long term plans include creating a new
1,500 capacity conference suite at The International Centre, a new
200-bed hotel, and new bars and restaurants around The
International Centre itself.
