Stratford-based firm of chartered accountants Murphy Salisbury
is sponsoring a tribute to jazz legend Duke Ellington at this
year's Stratford Music Festival.
Revered British saxophonist Alan Barnes and his octet will be
performing the jazz composer's music at the Duke Ellington
Revisited evening on October 6th.
Bobby Gupta, tax partner at Murphy Salisbury, said: "We
sponsored a jazz evening at last year's festival which was a great
success, so we are proud to be able to give it our support again
this year.
"Stratford Music Festival draws visitors from far and wide, and
we are proud to be a part of such a prestigious and varied event
right here on our doorstep."
Duke Ellington Revisited takes place on Wednesday, October 6th,
at the Civic Hall in Rother Street, Stratford on Avon, at
