Midlands Air Ambulance has teamed up with one of the region's
most established law practices to give free advice on wills and
legacies.
From Monday 20th September 'legacy surgeries' will be held on a
monthly basis by Wall James Chappell Solicitors at their offices on
Hagley Road in Stourbridge.
The surgeries will be broken down into half hour appointments to
give straightforward information on wills, probates, inheritance
tax planning and the administration of estates.
"There's a big step between thinking of making a will and
actually doing it" explains Susannah Griffiths, partner at Wall
James Chappell. "Although most people know they should make a will
over 2/3 of people die without doing so.
"It is usually a straightforward process and it is the only way
to be certain that after your death you can secure the interests of
your loved ones and support the causes you care for most."
The surgeries mark a new partnership between Wall James Chappell
and Midlands Air Ambulance. The charity funds four in every
ten of its missions from gifts in wills.
Jason Levy, head of fundraising and marketing for Midlands Air
Ambulance says "Wall James Chappell have a great reputation and
will be there to give advice on all matters relating to wills,
probate and legacies, providing great reassurance on a sensitive
topic.
"We are pleased to be involved in giving support on such a vital
matter and we hope that this free service proves highly beneficial
to all our fantastic supporters."
