International consultancy Interfleet Technology has further
strengthened its position as the place to go to for software
applications designed specifically for the rail industry.
Confirming the message that "we speak software and we speak
railways", Interfleet has announced that it now has more than 3,500
unique subscribers at over 400 companies registered to use its
clyx.net solutions, with users able to access one or more of the 25
web-based applications it offers.
Mark Zawisza founded and leads Interfleet's Software Solutions
team, which earlier this year launched the Rail Notices website as
part of a Network Rail and RSSB sponsored project.
Mark commented: "The success of the clyx.net suite of software
solutions has been built on our knowledge and ability to develop a
range of business solutions that can be modified to suit a
particular client's needs and give them operational benefit.
"The launch of the Rail Notices site clearly demonstrated the
fact that the applications can be used by clients across our three
service sectors of Business Management, Infrastructure &
Railway Systems and Rolling Stock."
With new customers coming online, the secure clyx.net is now
used by 405 different companies, including transport groups, asset
owners, suppliers to the industry and regulatory bodies.
There are a number of new applications in the development phase
and a new software solution is being rolled out after the summer
that builds on the Interfleet Certification Services Application,
Certifyx.
